MY EXPERIENCE:I am so thankful to Anje Collins for bringing her PR Boot Camp workshop to Chicago. It was awesome! I walked in not knowing what to expect and what I received was honest, gritty, raw, real life public relations knowledge. Some would say it’s more than what’s being taught in universities and colleges world-wide with that being said, I would have to agree. Anje is a genuine soul who’s open and willing to give back to the younger generation such as myself; advising aspiring and rookie publicists in the game. The PR Boot Camp supplied all the basics of starting your own public relations business, how to write and effective press releases, proposals as well as how to pitch to targeted media outlets and prospective clients. Those in our workshop had the ability to speak with Anje directly regarding our personal career goals and listened as she gave honest feedback about what we should do, how to do it, and when to do it. I must say the Chicago PR Boot Camp workshop was over too soon, I promise those five hours flew by, I couldn’t believe it was over. If you have not yet attended one of Anje Collins PR Boot Camps or Summits, please sign up now.Forever Thankful,Quiana Hughes

Hi Anje,It was great meeting you at the Baltimore PR Boot Camp. I had a great time and you pretty much “gave me everything” that day. Words can’t express how great of an impact the work that you’re doing will have on us young PR folk.
Once again thank you.
Look forward to hearing from you,

Hi Anje,
Hi Anje,
The Chicago PR boot camp was one of the best PR seminars I’ve been to. I loved the intimacy and relaxed vibe of the event. You kept it real and honest and you didn’t make anyone feel uncomfortable. I really liked the way you showed us how to start a PR business and how not to be taken advantage of. Most of us are in our 20′s trying to find our way. Direction from seasoned pro like you really makes an impact in our lives. I learned more from you than I did in Grad School. You provide real life examples and you didn’t sugar coat anything. I could see that all of the women at boot camp left inspired and ready to work on their goals.
I honestly don’t think you need to change anything. If anything make it longer so we can talk more. Outside of that you gave us more than $60 worth of information. Our group was lucky because it was small. I’ve connected with the Chicago girls a few times and we’re still talking about boot camp.
Thanks a million for sharing your knowledge with us.

Good Afternoon Anje,
It was such a pleasure speaking with Anje this afternoon. Not only did she answer the questions I asked but she also told me some of her personal stories. Speaking with her gave me invaluable information and also the confidence to start my business. The conversation mainly dealt with the importance of brand building and being at the right place at the right time. I am looking forward to the Luncheon in New York as well as the PR Summit in November.
Thanks again,
Leslie Brock
Anje,
Thank you for taking the time to consult me today. The information you provided was priceless! I gained so much in our short conversation and have already put alot of your advice into action! It’s refreshing to know that there are PR professionals out there who are willing to share their expertise to the up and comers and I am glad that our twitter paths have crossed.
I am looking forward to meeting you in person soon.

Thank you for taking the time out to answer my questions. The one on one session was truly appreciated. As I previously expressed, I’ve been doing PR for a while, and not even knowing it. Now that I am officially taking steps into doing this officially AND the right way… your words of wisdom eliminated a lot of self-doubt & nervousness. It’s reassuring to know that there are veterans in the game that actually lend a helping hand as opposed to leaving me to the dogs. Thank you again, and I will definitely be in touch.
Dear Anje,
You certainly have a wealth of information to share and I look forward to speaking with you again soon. Thanks again,

A year ago I was completely lost with starting my career. i had no insight on gaining clients, did not know the importance of a press kit, or how to really networking. Following @womeninpr1 has allowed me to gain the tools that are essential in being a PRoductive Publicist. It has given me the strength needed in becoming a pro in the industry and has introduced me to a world of great women in this industry. Thanks Anje, I do not think you will ever understand how life changing your tweets/camps/calls are to us all.
